Participating in Conservation Efforts
One of the largest problems with ocean conservation is that is relatively difficult to get people involved in hands on cleanup. However, it is easy to help prevent the issues from worsening by limiting your plastic usage, water use, and limiting the amount of fossil fuels used by cars, air conditioners, and more. There are hands on cleanup projects available to those who are able to dive, or live near the coast. Cleaning up plastic anywhere can help, in order to prevent it from entering waterways.
